Thy Kingdom Come

Thy Kingdom Come is a global ecumenical prayer movement started in 2016 by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, which has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer. In 2023 it is held from Ascension Day (May 18) to Pentecost (May 28).

St. Cuthbert’s is offering two prayer activities for our community:

Walk the Outdoor Labyrinth on the Green

Since ancient times the labyrinth has created a sacred time and place to journey in contemplation and prayer.  Walking the labyrinth is a mini pilgrimage for Christians, but it is open to all as a way to quiet your mind, reflect, seek insight and pray.

Say One For Me!

In the Bayview Garden, an invitation to write a prayer request – and hang a ribbon on the railing to flutter in the breeze.  The requests will be included in the Prayer Circle on May 29.

These activities will be continuous from May 18 to 28 – so drop by anytime!
