ACROSS CANADA BY CANOE

TO RAISE FUNDS FOR CHARITY

• In early April, one of our own, William Vyse, along with two friends, Nolan Aziz and Georges Kirijian, embarked on a record breaking 8,000+ km, 200+ day canoe trip across Canada. They started at Tadoussac on the St. Lawrence River at the Atlantic Ocean and, after more than 3,000 gruelling kilometres and many incredible adventures, will be crossing Manitoba and Saskatchewan in August.
• Their route now takes them as far north as Lake Athabasca and then along the Peace River to Lake Williston, BC, where they will cross the Rockies. They expect to arrive in Prince Rupert on the Pacific coast in early December.
• The objective of the trip is to raise money for True North Aid a charity which provides practical support for community-led initiatives in northern and remote indigenous communities in Canada.
